Families and Children Together, Inc. (F.A.C.T., Inc.) is a single purpose, private non-profit organization. Established in 1995, F.A.C.T., Inc. was designated as a Head Start grantee on July 1, 1996. In 1999, an award was granted to operate an Early Head Start option. With this added option, a seamless stream of services for children birth to three became a reality at three sites.
Head Start and Early Head Start are comprehensive child development programs which serve children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families. Parents and other interested persons are encouraged to serve as volunteers in our centers. Volunteers may assist staff by performing classroom and playground duties, helping with special projects, making items for the center, assisting with maintenance, and donating needed items. |
