Parents and other interested persons are encouraged to serve as volunteers.

Volunteers may assist staff by performing classroom and playground duties, helping with special projects, making items for the center, assisting with maintenance, and donating needed items.

Community Involvement eVolunteers may assist staff by performing classroom and playground duties, helping wF.A.C.T. provides many services to the community, but F.A.C.T. also needs the community’s support!  For every $1 of federal funds the program receives, .25 cents must be matched by donations and volunteer hours from our community.  Volunteers from the community make a great impact on the children in our program and keep them in touch with the “real” world.    Volunteers are always needed.  Please call (870) 862-4545 and become a volunteer today!

What volunteers can do:
  • Play with the children
  • Read or tell stories
  • Make learning materials
  • Help prepare and serve meals
  • Do cleaning and maintenance
  • Help supervise playground
  • Talk about and show your hobbies
  • Help the teachers prepare bulletin boards
  • Do yard work and landscaping
  • Sing with the children
  • Help in the lunchroom and kitchen
  • Donate items
  • Rock the infants
